Panama City Beach, FL – On October 4, 2019, The Young Professionals
Network at Central Panhandle Association of Realtors® will hold a Beach Bonfire &
Corn Hole Tournament at Schooner’s Last Local Beach Club. Participants will enjoy a
fireside game of Corn Hole for $35 per team. The event will also feature complimentary
hors d’oeuvres & prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place tournament winners and the following
categories: Best Team Name and Best Team Uniform. Teams can sign-up online at
www.cpar.us/bonfire. This fun evening event will begin registration at 4:30 pm & the
games will begin at 5:30 pm.
Leading up to the event, the CPAR Young Professionals will be selling Custom
Corn Hole boards to raise additional funds for their Haney Technical Center
Scholarship. CPAR YPN hopes to fully fund a student through the program of their
choice. These Corn Hole boards will sell for $500 a set, with bags, and can be
customized with a logo or other artwork. As an additional perk, board sponsors can opt
to loan their boards to Endless Beach Rentals for use, allowing their logo to travel to
events all up and down the Emerald Coast.
All proceeds from this event are pledged to the CPAR Tom P. Haney Technical
Center Scholarship. For over 50 years, Haney has been training Bay County’s skilled
workforce by offering programs that address the current skills gap for in-demand
careers, those that require education beyond High School but less than a four-year
degree. All programs at Haney have active Occupational Advisory Committees made
up of local and regional industry partners who strive to ensure that students have the qualifications that area businesses seek in their future employees. Graduates of Haney have an average job placement rate of 87%.
