CPAR Gives $3,000 in Disaster Relief Aid to Emerald Coast Association of Realtors® Following Wildfires

Panama City, FL – The Central Panhandle Association of Realtors® disaster relief fund, the CPARCares Benevolence Fund, has contributed $3,000 to Realtors® affected by the recent wildfires in Walton County. At least six Realtors® with Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® had major fire damage or total loss of their homes. CPAR contributed $500 to each family to help them in this time of need.
The CPARCares Benevolence Fund was developed by CPAR after Hurricane Michael in 2018. CPAR Members, like so many people in our community, were deeply affected in almost every aspect of our daily lives by the storm. Without hesitation, Realtors® and Realtor® Associations across the country reached out to help us. They stepped up to the plate and contributed volunteers, supplies & funds for Realtors® in our community.
Awestruck by the magnitude of support we received during our time of need, CPAR leadership set out to create a special Benevolence Committee and the CPARCares Benevolence Fund for paying it forward. The Benevolence Committee specifically raises funds for Realtors® around the country who are affected by natural disasters. They have raised thousands of dollars to date and continue to do so.
