Panama City, FL – Do you have friends, family, or clients that are renovating, downsizing, or spring cleaning? Are you looking to get rid of some unwanted items AND support a great cause? Let us take some of that extra stuff off your hands!
On May 22, The Central Panhandle Association of REALTORS® invites you to help us “Stuff the Truck” with gently used household items and support our local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. From 8 am to 1 pm the Habitat for Humanity of Bay County will have their big box truck parked at CPAR. Realtor® volunteers will be on-site to help unload your items and stuff them in the truck.
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat organizations that accept donations and sell home improvement items to the public at a fraction of the retail price. We have two ReStores that operate here in Bay County. Proceeds that they collect are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance, and homes in our area. The Bay County Habitat for Humanity has built 88 homes in our area since 1990 and they are building more all the time. When you shop, donate or volunteer at a Habitat ReStore, you are part of a worldwide movement dedicated to building simple, decent, affordable housing for deserving families!
We are collecting a wide variety of good condition items at this event including appliances, building materials, furniture, and more. You can find a full list of acceptable donations at www.cpar.us/habitat.
