The holiday spirit is giving us warm and fuzzies this March. The Central Panhandle Association of REALTORS® (CPAR) is proud to announce that we raised just over $30,000 at our annual Festival of Trees in 2021. Committee Members voted to split the proceeds of the festival between benefited the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and $15,000 to the Life Management Center of NWFL.
The Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center has been serving our community for 19 years, providing care to over 12,000 children. Donations provide comfort and care to youth in their time of crisis. The center expects the number of adults and children affected by abuse and violence to remain at unacceptable levels. Gifts like ours are carefully utilized to best meet the needs of these precious members of our community.
LMC serves over 10,000 individuals and families each year. The Center is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Their staff is a multi-disciplinary and includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, counselors, and nurses. Offering the following: Case Management/Services Coordination, Out-of-Home Treatment, Community Housing, Outpatient Treatment, Community Integration, Prevention/Diversion, Crisis Intervention, Adoption, Detoxification, Family Empowerment, Inpatient Treatment, Support and Facilitation. All of which are internationally accredited by CARF.
Check was provided via mail to the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. The Life Management Center of NWFL’s check presentation ceremony was held at their offices on 15th street March 23, 2022. Presented by CPAR team members: Debbie Ashbrook, CEO; Kaydee Albritton, COO; Aerial Payne, Communications Director and Communications Committee Chair and REALTOR, Pam Mathis. Photo enclosed.
This year’s Festival of Tree’s is being planned for November 19, 2022, with the benefitting agency or agencies to be decided.
