Central Panhandle Association of Realtors® (CPAR) is proud to announce that they raised over $10,000 with their campaign “Project 109” during the month of August 2023. Project 109 began as an inspiring initiative dedicated to supporting Chrome Retreat, a vital men's recovery center located in Marianna, Florida. CPAR aimed to raise funds to provide mattresses for the center's residents, empowering them to take bold steps towards rebuilding their lives.

During the entire month of August, CPAR accepted donations and conducted fundraisers in support of Project 109, with the primary goal of providing 60 much-needed mattresses for the men's recovery center. Each mattress cost just $109, and with the community's collective efforts CPAR was able to meet and exceed their goal by almost $4,000!

Chrome Retreat has been a pillar of hope in the community, tirelessly walking alongside men facing difficult circumstances, and providing unwavering support as they embark on their journey to recovery. The center's commitment to nurturing and empowering these individuals has been instrumental in transforming countless lives, and CPAR is enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to their mission. CPAR serves Bay, Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson & Washington counties. Community outreach and support in our Northern counties is an integral part of the association’s strategic plan.

CPAR will present a check to Chrome Retreat at the 2023 CPAR Annual Membership meeting on September 19, 2023, at Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort. Registration is online at www.cpar.us/luncheon.
